Hacienda Paradise - Chichen Itzŕ

Chichen Itzŕ

Once one of the region's major focal points, the ruins of Chichen Itza is among the few remaining structures left behind by the ancient Mayans.

The assorted structures and architectural complexes of Chichen Itzŕ is a remaining testament to the Mayans' architectural, astronomic, and numeric knowledge long since acknowledged as well-advanced beyond their time.

Hacienda Paradise - Tulum

Tulum

South of Playa del Carmen and Akumal, Tulum is an amalgamation of beach, town, and archeological zone. The ruins of Tulum stand on a bluff facing the rising sun and towers over the Caribbean Sea. In the Mayan tongue, Tulum means "wall,"an apt description for the walled city. Its unique seaside location lends one of the most beautiful views of the Mexican Caribbean, as seen from the eyes of the Mayan world.

Hacienda Paradise - Cobá

Cobá

Of the few remaining structures of the ancient Mayans, the ruins at Cobá are unique in that they were just barely restored—merely cleared, in fact. Of the estimated 6,500 structures in the site, only a few have been uncovered. Their impressive stature stands testament that Cobá may once have had the largest population of all the ancient Mayan cities, with an estimated 100,000 people living in its domain at one time.

Hacienda Paradise - Ek Balam | Rio Lagartos

Ek Balam | Rio Lagartos

Ek Balam is said to be a magical site where the black jaguar (called Ek Balam in the Mayan tongue), followed by his entourage, awaits to boast its rich, stone-engraved clothing. From the depths of time, this mythical figure speaks of the splendor of the acropolis from which it ruled. The site is located in the avian sanctuary found in Rio Lagartos, where pink flamingos and about 320 other bird species reside.

Hacienda Paradise - Sian Ka’an

Sian Ka'an

Declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1976, the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is the natural habitat of over 385 bird species and more than 100 marine species in danger of extinction. A trip to Sian Ka'an guarantees a chance to experience nature first-hand, with the option to take a boat tour in the lagoon and go snorkeling on the reef amid the crystal-clear waters of this wonderful paradise.

Hacienda Paradise - Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres

A unique place where the natural and cultural wealth of Mexico is combined, this beautiful island is where the magic of the Caribbean, the exotic beauty of a dense tropical jungle, and the rich heritage of the ancient Mayan civilization come together. A trip to the island includes something for everybody—the natural beauty of the surroundings, the crystal-clear waters of the Mexican Caribbean, and the Mesoamerican Reef, deemed the largest one in the Americas.
